Jubilee at the Temple: A Centennial Celebration

Join us for an unforgettable event at a beloved Detroit landmark as we honor the 100th anniversaries of Sholem Aleichem Institute (SAI) and the temple, spotlight Detroit landsmanshaftn, support the work of JHSM—and so much more!

• Interactive history stations spotlighting, Detroit’s surviving landsmanshaftn, the temple, and SAI

• Live musical performances by Klezundheit and Klezmer Academy

• English world premiere of In a bibliotek zal (c. 1925 Alef Ziger)

• Yiddish/English poetry readings 

• Delicious light fare (vegetarian + fish), decadent desserts, and an open wine bar
